That's what Percy Jackson, a twelve-year old dyslexic, ADHD kid who studies at Yancy Academy, a private school for troubled kids in upstate New York. He happened to be the typical sixth-grade but that changed after he learned that he wasn't so normal after all, that all those weird events that had happened in his life was caused by the fact that he's paternal father isn't normal too. That his father may be one of the Greek gods who sits in the twelve thrones of Olympus.
