Hush Hush to be Adapted into a Film by LD Entertainment

As the red curtains finally closed in for the vampires of The Twilight Saga, Entertainment Weekly revealed that LD Entertainment has bought the film rights for the movie adaptation of Becca Fitzpatrick's bestselling YA novel, the Hush Hush Saga. It was also reported that the Greek creator Patrick Sean Smith would be the one to handle and write the screenplay for the first installment.

Hush, Hush tells the story of Nora Grey, a 16-year old high school student who happens to caught the attention of his dark, enigmatic biology partner Patch Cipriano. But as she grew closer to him, weird things started to happen, hallucinations and weird intuitions that seemed to be coming true. Later on, it was revealed that Patch wasn't the typical bad boy next door but was a fallen angel, sent out to kill Nora because of her odd bloodline and her connection to the Nephilims so he could go back to heaven. However, Patch fell in love with Nora and couldn't have the strength to kill her thus that's when other angels where sent to finish the job instead.

After the Twilight Saga's massive blockbuster movie adaptions, Hollywood has been trying to create the perfect YA novel film adaptation to follow its success. Unfortunately though, movie adaptations like the Beastly and the Red Riding Hood didn't receive as much warmth to the couch potatoes. Now, another YA novel in the same genre as Twilight but featuring fallen angels instead of vampires will take a shot and see if they have the guts to receive or even exceed its popularity.
